I was involved in the architecture of Showpo’s move from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify Plus and was one of the original developers on the project before handing it over to the wider Convert Digital team.
The build used Shopify’s Hydrogen storefront framework for a large Australian retailer serving customers across Australia, the US and the UK. It brought together commerce, content and merchandising systems so the team could develop the customer experience across those markets.
Convert Digital and Showpo delivered the migration together. My main contribution was establishing the architecture and working on the initial development that the team then built on.
