I was a key systems designer on Forever New’s move to Shopify, leading most of the architectural and platform workshops. We worked through how Shopify would connect with the retailer’s existing systems and support the business across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada.
I also helped guide and oversee development of the Shopify storefront, built on Shopify’s Horizon theme. My involvement covered the platform and systems decisions as well as governance of the theme build.
The migration was delivered by the Forever New and Convert Digital teams, connecting Shopify with the existing ERP, warehouse and merchandising systems. Joint showcases brought the wider business into the process, and the teams worked together to build internal capability for life after launch.
