Fireside ChatShopifyTalk:Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify migrations
Toronto, Canada
A fireside discussion with Andrew Waite and Nick Horton about moving merchants from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify.
Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify, Shopify DotDev, Toronto, July 2026.
1 / 3About the event
I joined Andrew Waite and Shopify’s Nick Horton at DotDev in Toronto to discuss migrating merchants from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify.
Drawing from our experience migrating brands like Showpo & Lorna Jane, we explored the process, challenges and considerations involved in adapting systems built around Salesforce functionality to native Shopify capabilities.
We also discussed change management and what teams need to be mindful of throughout a migration. It was an opportunity to share the Convert Digital team’s experience with the wider Shopify partner and developer community.
